Welcome
We are a parent association whose aim is to raise money to support the school in the advancement of our children's education.

All parents of children attending the school automatically become members. We do not have a structured committee as such, although to ensure the efficient running of the association we do elect the following executive members:

Ruth Cartwright Kate Hall Julie Cleeve Nicola Binfield
Chairperson Vice-Chairperson Treasurer Secretary

The Head Teacher is our president. The Friends is a registered charity with the executive members acting as the charity trustees.

Our meetings are held approximately twice termly, depending on the events being planned and organised, and are open to everyone. We like to see as many new faces as possible, so please come along and support us - meetings are usually held in the music room. Our next meeting is Friday 9th May at 2p.m.

Minutes of recent meetings can be found below:

School Café
Our Friday school café is a major fund raising activity and is held throughout the year.
  School Café
This is held every Friday afternoon in the school hall from 3.00 p.m. onwards. Tea, coffee, squash and cakes are served. Cake making and serving is carried out on a voluntary basis according to a rota organised termly. We need plenty of volunteers so please let the rota organiser know if you are willing to help.

Our current café co-ordinator is Debbie Page. If you are interested in helping Debbie, here is a quick run down of what's involved.
Servers come into school at 2.30p.m. to set out tables and chairs e.t.c. and then be ready to serve when cafe opens at 3.00p.m. Everything is then cleared away by about 3.45p.m. Serving is done with 3 people on duty at any one time - if we have enough volunteers, you will only be asked to do one or two duties per term.
Bakers should provide 25-30 small cakes, which should be delivered on the Friday morning of your duty. There are 6 bakers on duty at any one time, so this will give you an idea of how much we sell.
If you would like to help us keep the café a roaring success, we would welcome any assistance.
